What is an Ozonator?
An Ozonator is a water purifier that cleans the water in your spa using ozone. Ozone is sometimes referred to as “energetic oxygen”, and is a powerful oxidizer, so it can help keep your hot tub water clean without using as many chemicals. Less chemicals mean that the water won’t be as drying to skin or irritating to eyes – it also means that your hot tub won’t have such a strong chemical smell. All DreamMaker spas are Ozonator-ready, so you can upgrade your water treatment system and reap all the benefits this purification method has to offer. The ozonator kit is self installed but fairly easy to install for anyone able to operate a screwdriver. Price $149
Can an Ozonator save me money?
Yes! By reducing the amount of chemicals that you would normally need to keep water clean, your hot tub maintenance bills will drop. Ozonators can easily cut the amount of chemicals like bromide and chlorine by 50-80%. Water will be much clearer and cleaner with an Ozonator that it ever would be with chemicals alone.
What kind of chemicals do I need to use in the water?
When you buy your DreamMaker hot tub from My-Hot-Tub-and-Spa.com, a free chemical starter kit is included. You get everything you need to get your hot tub setup up as soon as it is delivered. Each kit includes everything needed to keep your water clean and balanced as well as test strips to monitor the water condition.
How often do I need to change the water?
Water changes are essential to enjoying your hot tub experience. A good rule of thumb for water changing is once every 2 to 3 months. If you water ever looks cloudy, excessively foamy or smells, your spa is in need of an immediate water change.
How long will it take to get my hot tub?
Within the first 24 – 48 hours of receiving your order, your hot tub is packed up and ready to ship from a Florida warehouse. Freight shipping times vary depending on where you are located in the U.S. Allow anywhere from 2 – 10 business days for delivery depending on where you live. Obviously, those closer to Florida will have shorter freight transit times.
Availability: Dream Maker Spas are generally in stock, but due to fluctuations in volume there may be times when a tub is out of stock for a number of days until production can catch up. If this is the case, you will be notified of the delay.
How much will the shipping cost me?
Nothing! When you buy from My-Hot-Tub-and-Spa.com, free shipping is one of the many ways we simplify the buying process. No guessing. Select your spa, select your options – that’s the price. No extra unknown charges to worry about. (Please noteShipping is free within the continental U. S. only.)
Is there Sales Tax:
Only those in Pennsylvania have to worry about sales tax. As a Pennsylvania company, we are required by law to charge 6% sales tax to customers receiving shipment of their spa at a PA address.
How is my Hot Tub Delivered?
All of our DreamMaker hot tubs arrive in freight trucks and have what is considered curbside delivery. This means that they are unloaded on a lift gate truck and placed onto your driveway. Before your hot tub is delivered, the freight company will contact you and schedule a time for delivery. Because all of the DreamMaker spas weigh under 300 lbs, a 2-wheel dolly or hand truck plus an extra pair of hands, positioning your hot tub is quite easy.
Why should I buy through the Internet?
Because we can save you money! You get the same quality that you would expect from a DreamMaker hot tub, but because we don’t have the overhead of maintaining a showroom, we can pass the savings on to you. Check out our free gifts that come with every spa order or call us for our latest specials. Why buy a spa that’s been sitting in a showroom for weeks or months? Possibly even being used as a showroom “demo model”. With My-Hot-Tub-And-Spa.com you get a brand new – sparkling clean spa factory direct and guaranteed never to have collected dust in some showroom.
Can I use my hot tub in the winter?
Of course! Many customers enjoy their hot tub throughout the year – including the chilly months. Many DreamMaker owners insist that the winter is the best time of year for hot tubbing. If you decide not to use your tub through the winter, please go through the winterizing process outlined in the owners manual. This will ensure that the tub is empty and water in the plumbing lines doesn’t freeze and cause damage to the spa.
How much will my energy bills be?
Your monthly cost of running the spa depends on a few factors. 1. Climate. 2. How much you use the spa. 3. Energy costs in your area. Because DreamMaker uses a proprietary heat recovery system, they are one of the most economical spas to own and operate. As a rough estimate, the cost of running your Dream Maker spa will be approximately a dollar a day. Again, your costs may vary.
How difficult is installation?
DreamMaker spas only need to be positioned, plugged in and filled with water and allowed to heat up before you can hop in! No plumbing or poured cement needed. Allow 12-18 hours for your tub to heat up to normal operating temperature. A nice toasty 104 degrees. With the digital control, you can obviously make the water a little cooler if you want.
Do I need an electrician to set up my hot tub?
Since the Dream Maker Spas operate on a standard 110V household outlet, most people will not need an electrician to run some fancy 220V line outside for you. However, if you don’t have an exterior 110V outlet, you should consider having an electrician put in a new outlet near your hot tub. For safety reasons, we don’t recommend using extension cords.
Can I use my Dream Maker Spa Indoors?
Absolutely. Just be sure to measure the doorways. Most of the Dream Maker Spas have a height of 26” to 33” tall. Which means when you flip it on it’s side, your doorway would need to be at least that wide for the spa to fit indoors. Also make sure to factor in turning corners or indoor doorways. Most standard indoor doors are 30”.
The other factor is humidity. Using a hot tub indoors for 30 minutes gives off approximately the same amount of humidity as a 30 minute HOT shower. Also factor in the condensation, drip and splash factor when deciding where you plan to place your hot tub. Obviously you won’t want to put it on nice hardwood floors if water issues are to be expected.
